Learn to Skate provides exercise and enjoyment for the whole family. We want to provide you with a fun, social, and safe environment to learn and grow.
Learn to Skate is for all ages — adults too!
Each class consists of 40 minutes of group instruction followed by a 10 minute open skate where skill practice is encouraged.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private coaches are a separate entity from the rink. We can connect you with those who are currently taking students. Private Lessons may only be given on Freestyle Figure Skating Ice. Prior to getting on the ice, you will have to pay the rink for your ice time. ISCC sells a half hour of ice time for $13, or a full hour of ice time for $17. Then, the coaching fee goes directly to your coach. Private coach rates will vary per hour depending on the coach. Most coaches do also offer half-hour lessons at a reduced rate. If you are unsure what to ask when looking for a coach, here are some ideas:
● Do you offer trial lessons, and if so what is the cost and amount of time given?
● How much are your rates?
● How long does each lesson last?
● What are you looking for in a student?
● What are your goals when you work with students?
● What is your coaching philosophy?
● Tell me about your experience/background in skating.
For more information, contact ISCC Learn To Skate Director, Juliette Zielinski at jzielinski@isccskate.com

JUST FOR KIDS
CREATIVE MOVEMENT FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS
Creative Movement is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. The 45 minute class will provide children with opportunities for noncompetitive, success-oriented and creative experiences.
Through movement, children learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other. Creative movement activities should encourage all children to participate. Both boys and girls enjoy these classes. All children can benefit, including children with communication, sensory, developmental or physical challenges.
