What is Summer of Gold?
Experience an elite figure skating seminar at the International Skating Center of Connecticut, designed to help dedicated skaters reach their highest potential. This immersive three-week program includes daily on-ice and off-ice group training, plus opportunities for private instruction with Olympic and World Champions Katia Gordeeva and Victor Petrenko, World Junior Champion Vladimir Petrenko, Team USA National and World Medalist Emilie Connors, and the expert ISCC Skating Club coaching staff.
Ideal for skaters who are Excel or Well-Balanced Pre-Preliminary and above, who are committed to advancing their technique, gaining fresh perspectives, and training alongside world-class talent.

Each Week:
- Unlimited Practice Ice (Add On) - Ice is available throughout the day for both practice and private lessons
- 10 on-ice classes (Jumps, Spins, Choreography, Edge Work, Power Skating, Interpretive)
-15 off-ice classes (Ballet, Jumps, Strength & Conditioning, Dynamic Warm-Ups, & Stretch)

Private Lessons
Private lessons are not included and are arranged separately after registration is completed. The ISCC Skating Club will organize lessons as requests are received on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on coach availability. Lessons will be scheduled on Open Figure Skating Sessions, which are held around group classes and designated on the ISCC’s Master Schedule.
Local registered skaters who have Unlimited Skating Passes can use them for Private Lesson Sessions.
Living Accommodations
Our partners at The International Hotel, just 10 minutes away from the ISCC, will have rooms available for reservation starting (Coming Soon). These accommodations include access to common areas and the kitchen, which is ideal for Summer of Gold participants.

Who is Summer of Gold for?
Open to skaters Pre-Preliminary and higher. We tailor our coaching to meet each skater’s needs.
What is included in the price?
Includes on-ice and off-ice classes, program analysis, and access to our expert-level coaching team.
Is the skating pass required?
No, the unlimited skating bundle is optional, but it is required if you are planning to schedule private lessons or time to practice.
What is the unlimited skating pass?
This pass will allow skaters the ability to skate on Open Figure Skating Sessions that are in between the scheduled group classes. These sessions are where skaters’ private lessons will be held.
What is the duration of Summer of Gold?
Summer of Gold runs from July 20th until August 7th, 2026, with the option to sign up for either a 1-week, 2, or a full 3-week option.
What are the hours of Summer of Gold?
On & Off-ice group class starts the day off at 8:00 am and will end by 12:00 pm. Open Figure Skating sessions will be available in the morning as well as the afternoon for skaters to reserve private lessons. These sessions will run until 5:00 pm. Exact schedules will be sent to registered participants closer to the start date.
